American actress/martial artist Michele is grown up in Culver City (California) with her brother Jamie Krasnoo. She's the daughter of Bernie Krasnoo who owns the famous Sherman Oaks Karate Studio (formerly of Chuck Norris) in Encino (California). She earned a bachelor’s degree in film Productions at the California State University in Northridge in 1998. She's married to Stephen Lax and the couple have three children. Her famous nickname ''Mouse'' is taken from the "fighting yell" which she yelled as child during martial-arts classes. 

She started with tang soo do (kung fu) training when she was six years old in 1980 and earned her first black belt when she was thirteen. She has a 5th degree black belt in tang soo do (kung fu) and a 1st degree black belt in shorin-ryu karate. She has also a 1st degree black belt in taekwondo and a black sash in Wushu. She is also trained in the use of martial arts weapons. She competed at competitions and made a name as one of the top Southern California competitors in creative forms in the 80s. She was named National Black Belt League Competitor of the Year in 1993. She retired as competition fighter at the end of season 1996. She grew from a proficient performer to a mature martial artist, who learns her martial arts skills to next generations black belts. She's inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame as Competitor of the Year in 2006.

She's the creator of the aerobics/martial-arts system "Kick-Butt". Her system was initially known as "Kick-Butt Kickboxing" and looks similar to Billy Blanks "Tae-Bo". She has ultimately shortened the name and admits that kickboxing is actually the mere "tip of the iceberg", which "Kick-Butt" encompasses more than this. She has released four martial-arts workout-videos on VHS and tries to bring these videos out on DVD. She demonstrates on her videos how to use martial arts weapons and her favorite martial-arts weapon is the "Kama", or paired sickle.

Action Movie Career

She made her action movie debut as karate student next to Jean-Claude Van Damme who plays the Russian bad guy Ivan Kraschinsky in ''No Retreat, No Surrender'' (1986). Ivan is the top martial artist of a Asian gang and Jason Stillwell (played by Kurt McKinney) is a promising karateka and super fan of Bruce Lee. He trains with the ghost of Bruce Lee and moves to Seattle under heavy pressure of the Asian gang. Jason must use his newly acquired skills to save Seattle from the Asian gang.

She is the karate student of karate expert Jack Dillon (played by Don 'The Dragon' Wilson) in ''Blackbelt'' (1992). Jack is forced to fight against the greatest martial arts legends of the world, while he defends a beautiful super rock star.

She plays an female fighter in this story about Luke Powers (played by Jerry Trimble) whose brother is killed at an illegal back alley martial arts tournament in ''Full Contact'' (1993). He travels to L.A to compete in the tournament circuit in order to take revenge. 

She plays in this story about Sandy Thomas (played by Tara Lee-Anne Roth) who gets troubles with bad guys at her new aerobics studio in ''High Kicks'' (1993). She gets help of her new employee Sam (played by Dennis Swarthout) who karate expert is in order to show them who's the boss

She plays female fighter Megan Laurence in this story where kickboxer David Sloan (played by Sasha Mitchell) travels to Mexico in order to rescue his wife Darcy Cove (played by Jill Pierce) in ''Kickboxer 4: The Aggressor'' (1994). She's captured by the despicable world champion kickboxing Tong Po (played by Kamel Krifia) who abuses her also as sexual captive. David has no choice then compete at Tong Po's tournament of champions, where the winner takes it all. He teams up with Megan in order to rescue his wife Darcy, and together they fight against Tong Po and his deadly guards.

She plays in this story about Kickboxing champ Mark Vanik (played by Matthias Hues) and reporter Paul Landis (played by Martin Kove) who are searching for a missing man in ''Death Match'' (1994). 

She plays Mikki in this story about Sean Kane (played by Gary Wasniewski), who embarks an quest to reunite with his martial arts mentor, Master Wong (played by Leo Wong), in order to present him the coveted Hall of Fame award in ''Thunderkick'' (2008). Master Wong is held captive because he is involved in the illegal trafficking of human organs. Sean wants to liberate Master Wong before his untimely demise and is captured during his rescue mission. He is held captive in the same fortress where Master Wong is caught, and he's forced to fight his way to freedom.
